Photography Exhibition: The Act of Living

The vernissage of the photography exhibition “The Act of Living” will take place next Wednesday 28th June at 6 pm, in PEG Foyer, on the Campus Westend. The exhibition is the result of a collaborative work, led by Asia Justice and Rights and the photographer Anne-Cecile Esteve, with female victims of the political repression which followed the 1965 coup attempt in Indonesia. It is the result of a journey through personal memories, a part of a healing process and a trace of Indonesian history framed in a touching way. The opening speech will be given by Mrs. Indria Fernida, the Regional Coordinator at Asia Justice and Rights (AJAR), and followed by an informal discussion.
