Remembering the Temple of Jerusalem
On April 21, Yemima Cohen will present her Ph.D. thesis in a talk titled “Remembering the Temple of Jerusalem: the Image of the Future and the Memory of the Past”. She is writing her thesis with the topic “Past, Present, and Future: Commemorating the Temple in Heritage Sites around the Temple Mount in Jerusalem” in sociology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Between 2005 and 2011 she worked as a tour guide at the Rachel Yanait-Ben Zvi Center in Jerusalem. Currently, she is teaching a course on “Collective Memory and the Society in Israel” at Hebrew University.
