Carolin Anda

Carolin Anda is a Ph.D. scholarship holder in the postgraduate program „The Photographic Dispositiv“ at Brunswick University of Art. She studied Theatre-, Film- and Media Studies and English Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt and at University Stockholm. She completed her studies in 2013 with an M.A. thesis dealing with reflections of vacation photography on social network sites. In her Ph.D. project she focuses on new dynamics in dealing with private photographic material on social network sites. Her research intrests include theories and dynamics of private photographic material, flows of media in the internet, strategies of visualization, cultural pictorial memory forms of remembering as well as photography as social practice.
