Roxane Dänner is a PhD candidate at Goethe University Frankfurt. She completed her M.A. in Moving Cultures – Transcultural Encounters in 2018 with a thesis on “Cinema in Post-Ethnic Society: The Transcultural Comedy in Great Britain and Germany.” She works as a research assistant at the department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at Goethe University. Her PhD thesis investigates representations of memory, migration and gender in British film and literature. Roxane is a member of the Frankfurt Memory Studies Platform, the Memory Studies Association and the European Network for Cinema and Media Studies (NECS).
