Endre Dányi


Endre Dányi is postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Sociology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. He completed his PhD thesis at the Department of Sociology at Lancaster University, which was a material-semiotic analysis of liberal democracy through the Hungarian parliament building. One chapter of the thesis has recently been published in Dariusz Gafijczuk & Derek Sayer’s The Inhabited Ruins of Central Europe: Re-imagining Space, History and Memory. As part of his current research in Frankfurt, Endre aims to investigate political pasts and futures that are being made absent/present in the new headquarters of the European Central Bank.
