Vera King is Professor of Sociology and Social Psychology at Goethe University Frankfurt and Director of the Sigmund Freud Institute in Frankfurt am Main.
Research
King’s research and publications focus on the analysis of relationships between social conditions and individual development, between culture and the psyche. Vera King investigates in particular mechanisms and dynamics of transgenerational transmission of culture, experience and experience. She also deals with changes in experiences, memory and oblivion in the context of digitization; optimization and acceleration.
