Guillem Atienza is a PhD candidate in Literature at the Universitat de València, from which he graduated in German Philology. Later he completed the Master of European Literatures at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin as a beneficiary of the scholarship programme of the ‘la Caixa’ Foundation. He is currently working on his thesis on the presence of the RAF (Red Army Faction) terrorism in contemporary German literature, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Brigitte Jirku, as part of the research group ‘Contemporary Representations of Mass Crimes’ (https://repercrirg.com). The thesis project is carried out within the framework of the PhD programme in Languages, Literatures and Cultures of the Universitat de València, thanks to the grants for the recruitment of doctoral researchers of the Generalitat Valenciana (CIACIF/2021/461).
