Breaking down the Silos: Connecting Cultural, Social, Psychological, and Biological Aspects of Memory

In late March 2022, we enjoyed a small international workshop at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Bad Homburg. It carried the programmatic title “Breaking down the Silos” and was co-organized by Astrid Erll (FMSP) and Bill Hirst (New School New York). Our aim was to bring together more closely cultural memory studies with memory research in psychology. Fritz Thyssen Foundation provided generous funding.
