Jihad Karim

Jihad Karim is a DAAD Fellow at the Institute for English and American Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt. He studied English Language and Literature at Sulaymaniyah University, Kurdistan-Iraq. He holds an M.A. in Creative Writing from Newcastle University. His PhD project supervised by Prof. Dr. Astrid Erll aims at implied readers across the Anglophone world including Nigerian, Caribbean and Kurdish literature from a narratological perspective. Since October 2018, Jihad holds a scholarship with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
