Ronan Crowley is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the Institute for English and American Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt (2023–2025). He received his PhD in English from the University at Buffalo and has held postdoctoral research positions in Denmark (as a researcher on an ERC consolidator project), Belgium (Marie Curie COFUND Fellow) and Germany (Humboldt Fellow). His work is in literary history of the Irish revival and Irish modernism with a specialism in James Joyce, and he has published widely in these areas. He was a Trustee of the International James Joyce Foundation for several years and now serves as its Vice President and President-Elect.
